Ending's Beginning.

Hello. I'm blogging today as Interact Club SMK Seafield's Secretary. I'll be logging in my personal experience as both a newbie and a seasoned board member. I hope you all can excuse my....formalities, for this post will be only once. This is the beginning of a new line of order, but the end of the last. Hence, my title. Then, let the post commence.

I'll start from my very initial experience as an Interactor. It was in form 3. I was an Interactor in form 1 but heck, I wasn't active. The only thing I truly remembered then was the board. But that's all. Form 3's my real breakout. Yeah, I wasn't an Interactor in form 2. So, form 3. As green as I am, I decided to re-join Interact, for I had virtually nothing else to involve myself in. And, with 'motivation' from Datin about the extra curricular activities being taken in account along with the academic results, I pushed myself to join something. Interact was the only thing in mind. Yup. So, goes my great voyage of signing up again. It feels awkward, cause, among the new members, the form 1s and 2s maybe, sits me, a form 3. I'm like the biggest kid. Get what I mean? Yeah.
That's okay I thought, as long as I work hard as a member right? Yeah.

Okay, so I kinda vowed to myself that I'll work my way up Interact. That time, getting into the board did not cross my mind at all. I just wanted to be reknown so that my report card can look pretty, if you know what I mean. With that in mind, I was an Interactor. So then came the first opportunity for me to fulfill my vow. Around 3 weeks or so after joining the club, the school is organising the 'gotong-royong' project. Every club had gotta clean up their premise and yeah, that's pretty much. So, I decided, yeah, this is it, let's help out. On that fine Saturday morning, I went to school just to do that. Mind you, I wasn't living in USJ 2 then. I was still staying at USJ 6, which was pretty far from school. My mom pretty much had to bring me there in the wee hours of morning and I felt bad about having to bother her Saturday rest. Ah, aside with that and on with the topic. And so, I went. Funny enough, there was no one at the Interact garden. That's the place Interact's supposed to clean. Only some of the board members were there. I remember Harold, Siew Ying, and probably the most important person I've met, my stepping stone to my future successes, Chiew Nee. So, they were there and they were pretty surprised that I turned up. Kinda happy too. So, the 4 of us started cleaning the garden. I got the chance to talk to them a little bit and it was all I needed. At one moment, I felt compelled to ask Chiew Nee a question. That question was, "Hey, is it possible to get into the board? I'm now form 3 and do you think I still stand a chance?". I asked that. She replied an answer that gave me hope but I wasn't hoping on it coz I don't think that anyone would see any potential in me. So I went on sweeping the leaves.......

What I didn't know was how much that little interaction and that question affected my chance to boardship. A little while after that day, around a week or so? The grandpa we all know of today, Shaun, came to see me. I was kinda bewildered because Shaun never looks for me. He looks for Brenda and the more active people. So, this time, he came for a reason. A reason that'll change my course in the club forever. He came to inform me that I'm part of the I.U committee. I was gonna be Vice Secretary of that year's joint I.U! It took some time for me to digest that. This was the first time I was part of something so major. It was the first time I had a post of somesort, may it be big or not. Yeah, that was the start of my 'trials'. I learnt a freaking lot from the tai ko's and tai che's during that period of time. I attended a whole lot of meetings with them, wrote the minutes, listened to their conversations, and yeah, those sort of thing. So it's like an exposure to what being a board member is. There will be fights, there will be disagreements, there will be compromise. Yeah. And being so newbish, I didn't really understand too much. Yue Mei, Shaun and Chiew Nee was taking care of everything it seems. Heh.

In a blink of an eye, I.U was over. Apparently, it wasn't so good. I wasn't sure about that coz I never went for any other I.U. See that lack of experience? Heh. Then, after that few months of 'training' with Shaun, it was the time of reckoning. They told me it was the time they chose new assistants. What? It all happened so fast for me. I only joined like....half a year ago! To be honest, I was kinda scared. I was afraid, after all these months of hardwork, it might all end here. I was afraid I would not be one of the assistants. I was afraid I would scrape by the sidelines, forever. I didn't know what to think. Then on that day, alot of people showed up. I wasn't the only one who's wanting to get in. I had competitors. But thankfully, Shaun managed to nominate me somehow. I was like the last name in the nomination list out of 30 or so candidates. I was so scared during that process. I was scared that my name would not appear there. My heart was thumping if I remember correctly. But hey, I guess it's my luck. Knowing your seniors well helps sometimes eh? Yeah, it definitely does.

What's next for me? Interview. Finally, this was the time. I was only part of the I.U board. That was temporary. Now this, is something different. In this board, it's permanent. You either get in or you don't. To make it short, it was kinda nerve-wrecking for me. During that few days towards the interview, I've already imagined the interview a thousand times. I imagined all the possible scenarios it might end up in. I might do really well, or I might just screw myself up. Who knows. But during that time, I thought of a few lines to say to the interviewers. I repeated the lines so much I kinda got sick of it. But one of the most memorable ones and one of the most cheesy ones too was......the answer that was meant for the question "Why do you want to become a board member?". The answer I thought of was, "I want to help the club return to its former glory. I want to get rid of the bureaucracy that is now in the club and change it for the better. And as a board member, I think I would be able to do that.". That's what I thought of. Kinda stupid isn't it? Well, I didn't really use that in the interview, I went for more straight forward answers, didn't want to screw my chances in case they think I was psycho or something. But hey, whaddaya know? It went pretty well. I was first to be interviewed, and first to leave of course. And I left with a hope in mind and a vision. I was pretty sure I was in. Not to boast or anything, but I thought I stood a good chance.

After a few weeks, they were announcing the Assistants. It was another nerve-wrecking day. I had to stay back just to find out. I was not used to staying back but I did it anyway. It was that important to me. And funny enough, I was kinda late for the meeting, for I had to arrange with my mom when to fetch me and things like that. But when I almost got there, Joanne came to me and said, "Why're you late?". I said I was very sorry and asked her if they already announced the assistants. I felt so bad for being late. It's like being late on your first day at work. Then she said, "Yeah, they announced. You had a post but since you're late, we canceled your name.". I was crushed, but then she said she was joking. -_- So, I went into the class where they had the meeting and oh my, wasn't shocked to see my name on the board already. I was assigned to the Assistant Secretary post. What happened next wasn't important. All I knew from that point onwards was that I have a responsibility now and yes, I will be known for my work, not my popularity. I was gonna be a true Interactor.

True enough, the days of me being Assistant was enjoyable. They weren't entirely that of course. I had my share of frustration, stress, pressure and all that. The most annoying thing would be learning the ropes. I was clueless in everything. I had to depend on the guidance of a few people and they would be Shaun and Sara inititally. They provided me with all I needed to start off well. Shaun especially, being an ex-board and all that, still managed to find time to guide me. I'm forever grateful. So, as time flies, it's already half a year after I've been an assistant. It's incredible how much you learn in such a short time. I wrote countless minutes, countless approval letters, and yeah, you get the idea. I was pretty seasoned already at that point. I knew what I was doing at least. Oh yeah, the Secretarial File. Ah, this little object spawned enough memories of both good and bad for me. It was given to me by Sara and I just filed in everything. Everything was to be kept tidy, organized and sort out. I spent so much time with it that I kinda bonded with that little file. At one point, it went MIA. You wouldn't know how worried sick I was. But thank god, it was found eventually and boy, wasn't I relieved.

So, after 6 months of being assistant, I had another half year to go. Yup. My assistantship is like split into two periods. One is the first six months, the second is the other six months. The first six months would be like the kinda soft period. That's where I just learn, learn, learn, and ocassionally do the important stuff. Even so, I'll need help from my seniors. So, it's basically a training period of somesort. I didn't do too much, it's just more of learning the basics. Ah, then the second period. This is where I truly get transformed into what I am. This is where I turn into something different. Why? Mostly because of I.U I guess. Not just any I.U, it was Anne Marie's I.U. You wouldn't believe how early she had us make preparations. It was as early as December. So, from December until March, we were working non-stop. For me, it was countless of letters. I wrote all kinds of approval letters, from the approval of an event to the approval of an object. Something like that. In that period, I wrote at least 10 or more letters, all carefully planned so that it would be approved without objections. The pressure was, the things I needed to prepare was usually needed in very short notice. Knowing how Anne Marie is, she means what she says. So, I had to cope with studies, while finding time to write all these letters, not mentioning the minutes. So, it was very limit-pushing. One of the days, I couldn't take it anymore and I actually broke down. I almost cried. But oh well, that's the process to becoming something better. And yeah, true enough, I have. I have now become a full fledged Secretary or something. Heh.

From the point where I met Chiew Nee till today, many many many things have happened. But it all boils down to that little spark, which might be just a question. ;) I'm still grateful that I asked her that question. If not, I would not be here, typing this. Coz I wouldn't have the memories. So, in this paragraph, I would like to express my gratitiude to the ones who have brought me up to this stage where I stand today. If it was not for you all, I wouldn't be me. I wouldn't be in the board, working with all of you. I would've been sacked. So, here are the people I would like to thank, very much:-

Shaun Liew, for everything from the letter formats, to the advice and reassurance. You have given me what I needed, when I needed. You were always there. If it wasn't for you actually, I wouldn't even be an assistant in the first place. Thank you so much Shaun, you will always be my grandpa, my mentor, my friend. From now till the end of time.

Anne Marie, for everything also. During the preparations for I.U, I had the most problems. It was like a giant obstacle course. Not only that, I also had to organize stuff. It was hell for me. But you were there to pull me through hell itself. During the times when I totally had no idea how to write a letter, you were there to teach me, during the times when I needed to know how to run things, you were there to explain. But most importantly, during the times when I had to break down, you were there, you were family. I cannot tell in words how much I am grateful for you. But there is something I would always be sure of, you would always be my senior, my guardian angel. You would always be my dear Ah Jie. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Chiew Nee. Eventhough you would probably not read this but hey, I would still need to thank you. Well, thanks for having that confidence in me. It was you who recommended me to Shaun for the I.U board and I'm forever grateful for that decision. Thanks. Without that, I wouldn't be who I am today.

Sara, for being my senior. Eventhough the people always say you are this and you are that but to me, you are not. Yes, I have been doing alot of your work, maybe all of it, but I know it wasn't how you wanted it to be. You had other responsibilities. But hey, who says you haven't been doing anything? You were there for me at countless ocassions. Saving me from trouble in one way or another. No matter what they say about you jie, you are still my senior, and I'm grateful to have you. Thanks jie, you will be missed.

Apart from them, I would also want to express my thanks to the Assistant Board and the Main Board. You have played a role in my days as an Assistant, may it be small or big or whatever. Without you all, being an Interactor would be meaningless. There would be nothing to look forward to. So, thanks for lighting up the meetings and the lame jokes that you always tell. Thanks alot.

Having said all that, it was like the summary of my life as an Interactor. I may not have loved all of it, but I loved most it. And now that I'm in the Main Board, I believe things just going to get better. With the other board members and a future cast of assistants, I'm sure things would be great. Wow, just look at the length of this post. Have you ever seen one as long? Well, I haven't, what more write one? No matter what, words won't be able to tell truly how these memories were. But it will forever be in my mind. No doubt about that. Thanks once again to the people who has been by my side all these times. You'll always be in my mind. Unforgotten. With that said, I would like to end this post. I hope future times as the Secretary brings good tidings for me. This is the Secretary of Interact Club SMK Seafield, logging out.

Yours Truly,

INT. MOK HAN JOE
(SECRETARY 06'/07')

T.Time!

Heheh, what's that? Hahah, well, that's the name of my favourite singer, Tanya Chua's new album!! And guess what, I just got it!! Weeeeee!

Ah, so you see, it's her new album and I just got it. =P I've been lurking for it for almost a week now. It's apparently not out here in Malaysia yet or it's just the customs screwing around. In any case, how did I get my hands on it? Hee, I'll tell you!

You see, just almost an hour ago at 9 o'clock, my dad decided he needs to go to Carrefour. He needs to get some tools for repair. Then, he remembered that I.....erm......heheh, pestered him to go out on Friday. I needed to get out to get a birthday present and....of course, get my hands on this album. Well, it happened an hour ago, all of it. My dad asked me to go out with him coz we'll be busy on Friday and this is my only chance to go out this week.....My weekends are unavailable. Again. So, of course, without another guess, I followed! Heheh. My dad went to Carrefour while I strut my way to Subang Parade. I walked my way to Speedy and quickly checked the shelves for the album. At first glance, oh my god. There is no signs of her album!! NOOOOOOO!! I was about to feel dissapointed again......until....something very familiar caught my eye. [I've seen the album cover many many times now on the net. =P] It's her album!! OH. MY. GOD. It was on display on the "On Air" shelf. But I don't see it anywhere else. Hmm? So, I asked the guy at the counter for it and he actually took the one on display for me. I asked whether there's any stock in the storeroom or something. He said.....No. Eh? Well, it actually just arrived and it's the only freaking copy. I hesitated but my fandom won over. Oh well, display pun display lah, grab it!! Ah, so I walk out the shop feeling like a million dollars. I got her album and it was the only copy. But somehow, something on the back on my mind tells me I'm either very lucky or very stupid. Hm. The stupid part comes from buying something on display. Well, HECK CARES!! I GOT HER ALBUM!! WOOOOOO!! Ehem* Sorry, I'm that happy. =) Here's a pict of the front cover....couldn't find a bigger one. Sigh. Anyways, here it is with the song list!

Sweet Sixteen [16/6/06].

Happy Birthday!! Lol. That's what many of my friends said to me that very special day. It's an unforgettable day and in this post, I will make sure it lives on forever in my memory. Forever.

I woke up to a Friday morning. Gah, I was a little groggy due to the time I went to sleep, which is 2 in the morning. Why? Well, I watched the England vs Trinidad match. Hee. So, I walked myself out of my room, and the first thing I received was a kiss. My mom came and greet me right outside the door and wished me a Happy Birthday. Then she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Oooooh, I was so happy that she wished me in such a special that I kissed her on the cheeks back! Heheh. What a great start to a great morning eh? Lol. Well, the rest was routinic as any normal day, but I still felt as though everything's more.....beautiful that day. Hahah.

So, as usual, I took my morning walk to the school. That day, I felt a spring in my step, a joy in my heart, a smile on my face. I was carrying a whole lot of newspaper for the 3R campaign to school too. Didn't bother me abit. =) So, the first thing I reached school, was a whole batch of my peeps, Hee Zhern, Wai Kit, Jia Jun[Mah] and the gang, wished me Happy Birthday. Wow, the feeling was incredible.....so many people at once. Heheh, so I kinda settled a while at the newspaper collection site and had a chat with them when my dear friend, Su Yi, came to me, wished me Happy Birthday and gave me a present!! Oh my god, was I happy. Ah, shortly after that.....of all people, Brenda came and wish me Happy Birthday along with Yuen Yoke. It totally struck me by surprise and I was touched down to the bottom of my heart. Didn't know even they cared. Heheh. Ah, then everything's so beautifully perfect. The newspaper collection was great, the lining up was great, ah heck, everything was just great.

So, went to class as usual, grabbed the buku ponteng and proceeded to class for add maths. Everyone was normal except for a few who saw me along the way and wished me Happy Birthday. Lol. In class, everything was normal too. I was copying notes and everything then something nice happened. Tjit Jian all of a sudden started singing the birthday song and everyone followed. Boy, was my face red. Lol. Ah, I was freaking happy of course as everyone else started wishing me Happy Birthday and all.....ah.... . Even Pn. Chin wished me Happy Birthday. Now is that cool or what? Hahah. I couldn't stop smiling the whole while. My jaws almost killed me. Heheh. Then, lessons went on as usual, with Happy Birthdays here and there from everyone...hahah. Then recess came.

Recess was also normal. Hanged out with the usual people, talked about usual things.....except for a few Happy Birthdays here an there....XD Ah, then came the aftermath of recess. Now this was unusual. It was totally unexpected!! Okay, here's what happened. When I reached class, Brenda told me that Anne-Marie was looking for me! But she said she was just gonna wish me Happy Birthday, that's all. So, I just said "Okay." and went on with my routine. That's when it happened, Anne-Marie came to my class along with Carolyn and Samantha. She had a present in her hand. OH MY GOD. I was elated. Three of em wished the wish and Anne gave me the present. I was so happy I hugged her and all. Lol. And there I go, smiling again. My jaws....hahah. Ah....everything up to now is absolutely perfect. There's only 2 more periods and I'm home free. What's more, no studying for the last 2 periods! There, it's already perfect.

Phew, so, as I've posted two posts ago, there will be plans 2 through 5 to be carried out. =) So, plan 1 was supposedly done on Thursday but I figured that the whole schooling day on that day itself was a great replacement for that plan 1. Hee. Plan 2, the St. John's Revision Class was okay, kinda filled the time pretty well, with talking with the Form 5s and acting all cheeky just because it's my birthday. XD. It was done by 2 o'clock, so I went home immediately coz I'm supposed to catch a movie with my peeps. So, walked the way home and luckily it only started raining AFTER I reached home. Lucky me. Hee. Then, I kinda rushed my way through the shower and got all ready to go to Summit. I haven't had my lunch. Yeah, plan 3 is about to be carried out.

That's when something kinda spoiled my perfect day. It didn't actually kill it, but it kinda upset it. Sheesh. What's the dang problem? Well, I thought we should get the tickets before we eat. That's exactly what we did. We were about to watch Tokyo Drift. The freaking problem is, it's 18SG. But, I was still kinda confident we could con our way through it. But no......this particular day and time, the ticketing bitch was extra vigilant. She asked for ICs. So I was like......shit. What did I do next? I continued conning her by giving great excuses but she still wouldn't let me buy the tickets. For she insisted that the ticket collector would not let me go through too. The reason? "You look too young." I was devastated when I heard that. Oh my god....I LOOK too young? What kind of shit is that? Haih.....well, what to do? She jealous lah I guess......Bloody old bitch. I gave up on the first try after she asked me to get our ICs, which I claimed I left at home....And....I actually went for a second try, with a different counter..................to no avail. Sigh, after all that crap we claimed we were, including claiming I lived in Sunway......lol, we decided.....no need to watch lah. Sigh, this will be the one and only thing that's wrong on my perfect day. Stupid 18SG and stupid counter bitches. I hope they burn in hel----. Ehem* I hope they suffer a undesirable fate. Hmph. Don't want to curse people on my Birthday. I'll see to it that they kena something..... >=P

So, what did we do? We went to the arcade! We spent time honing our gaming skills and well, time passed. Then, we went to play pool and the funniest thing happened.....we actually walked around the mall, lurking. We stopped shop by shop, buat kacau by just window shopping and the paling cun one is at Popular. We actually sat on the floor near one of the book racks and started talking. It was like we own the place or something. Hahah. We did that at few of the places and before we knew it, it was 6. Time to get back I thought. Hmm, yeah, so I did just that. But before that, my friends actually gave me.....a present. Small as it was, but it's the thought that counts right? They were guys too! Didn't think they would actually think of buying me a present at all! They ARE guys after all. Guys aren't always sensitive like this. Heh. Well, I guess plan 3 did turn out pretty good after all, even without the movie. =)

Plan 4 is by the horizon. I reached home at 6 something and it wasn't long before it was 7. Plan 4 initiates at 7.30. Well, by that time, I called my friends to confirm their attendance and wa-la, in a few minutes, .......Ding Dong. The bell rang. Weeee, they're here! Three of them arrived at the same time! What timing. Lol. And each of them brought presents. Oh my god....how happy can I get more? I was already overwhelmed by the presents I got during school hours and now, three more?? Weee.....So, the first thing we did was eat. Heheh. My dear mom cooked spaghetti, pizza and honey fried chicken!! How much better can it get? Well, we had a hearty chat during the meal and after that, we all went up to my room to chill. I showed them around and then I opened the presents. Hahah. They were great surprises. Here's a picture of all 6 presents I received that day:-

Let me tell you who gave what. Their names would be remembered here as the ones that actually took mind to care about me. I really really wanna thank these people for making my 16th birthday the best ever. Well, let's start. See that little circle with a base which has a bear on it and that little yellow tag? That's Su Yi's present. It's actually a photo frame, made cute. The circle actually stores the picture while the base is actually a bear, holding a bone, with a hat on his back, next to a kennel with a dog in it. Heheh. Thanks alot Su Yi!! Ah....now see that bigger brown teddy bear with a scarf on its neck? That's Anne-Marie's present. Now ain't that just freakin' cute? I sorta melted when I saw it. It's that cute. Not too mention soft and fluffy too. XD. Now my sheep has a friend!! Thanks alot Anne!! Ah, now look at that pen on the bears lap. That's no oridinary pen my friend, that's a freaking Parker. When I opened it, I was caught in awe. Never in my life did I think I would receive a freakin' Parker!! Oh man, look at that fine silver finish and the cool box. Not to mention the ink head comes out be rotating the body. It's total coolness. Who gave this to me? It's Yen-Theng!! Friend since standard 6 and still going strong. Ah, never regretted having her as a friend. As thoughtful as always. Thanks alot Yen-Theng!! Now, see that leafy thing under the pen? That's a bookmark. The kind that's really tough and solid? The plastic ones? You know? Anyways, it's given by my dear friend, Viknesh. As a nerd, I'm not surprised by the choice of present. Lol. It seems like he wants me to be a nerd too. Heheh. And ironically, the bookmark has a quote on it that reads...."I Obey Your Statutes". What? Lol. So, he is trying to make me be like him! Lol. Well, anyways, Thanks alot Viknesh!! Okay, now shift your attention to that box beside the bear. The one with a red object in it? Yeah. It's a car model actually. Looks very neat. The details are great and it even has a base or display! Who gave me this? Meng Chauw and Jia Jun!! Chong Jia Jun that is....not Mah. Thanks alot Meng Chauw and Jia Jun!! Lastly, that shirt that has the word "Tropical" on it. Megan gave me that one. It's kinda funny too coz it's the first piece of clothing I received as a present. Lol. Well, great start I guess? Heheh. Thanks alot Megan!!

Now here's another picture. Actually, it's the same picture but focuses more on the BEAR and the PEN. Why is this picture here? Well, it's the picture of my two favourite presents! Heheh.

Yup, these two are my favourite. Why? I just don't know why, but the meaning of these gifts touched my heart deeply. Well, the bear.......Given by Anne-Marie, it means alot to me. To think that she's my senior and we were once total strangers. And now, she understands me like her little brother. Makes me feel like I actually have a big sis. Now, the pen? The thing about it is probably because it struck me by total surprise. I really never ever though to own a thing of such stature in my life! The sight of it is enough to kill me. It'll probably be with me for a very long time. Heheh.

Well, phew. It's a pretty freakin long post ain't it? And oh yeah, plan 5. My uncle's back. Hehe. Because of his arrival, I went to sleep at 3 something. And I had ko-ku today, which means I only got 3 hours of sleep. Damn. It was worth it though. Seeing him is cool stuff man. Well, a Ph.D is something different ain't it? Lol. And yeah, my family is actually going back to hometown just to spend time with his family. It's that big. Not only us will be going back, everyone else is too. It's that big. Well, can't post too much about here now, I'm running out of time. Gotta go back soon. I'll probably post about him in the next post. So, I better finish this post first. Phew.

Before I end. I would like to conclude that this is the best birthday I've had. My 16th birthday. I thank everyone who took the trouble to wish me Happy Birthday and special thanks to the ones who took the trouble to get me a present. I give you all my blessings for being such kind persons. Thanks for making my birthday what it is. Thanks for giving me this memory. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'll make sure this memory stays forever in my mind. So, I swear, even when I'm not anymore a teen, I will always remember that Sweet Sixteen~

Tomorrow.

Yup. Tomorrow's the day. My birthday. Heheh. Behold the time of reckoning!

Ah, from the time now.....It's 10.28......Another hour and a half before the clock strikes 12 and hah, it'll be my day. Oooooh, it's gonna be an exciting day ahead! Hmm, by the way, there're a few changes to tomorrow's plan of the day. Well, plan 2 to 5 is still on course but plan 1 is not gonna happen. Why? Coz it happened today. Heh. Yeah, the expected two-part split for the campaign was unexpectedly cramped into one day, today. So, all 9 candidates campaigned today at the tapak perhimpunan. Great fun it was.

Yeah, since this thing was quite a show, let's talk a little on it. There were 9 candidates....let's see....they were, in order of the poster.....I think.....Soo Xing Han, Pan Jia Yi, The Form 6 Bynn guy......, Jessica Loke, Lee Shang Si, Samer Shahedza, Another Form 6 girl, Megan Lim and Farah Nur Ain. Yeah....I think that's it. Sorry about the Form 6 girl thing. I really forgot her name. Not very memorable. So, actually, 4 of them were Form 6's. They are, the Bynn guy [that's his last name], Lee Shang Si, Jessica Loke and heheh, the Form 6 girl. The others were of course, all form 4s.

Now, what's interesting was there was ONE exceptional campaign. It was outstanding, in a good way of course.
Well, before that, let's review a little of the others. Hmm, Xing Han was......okay....though I think the paper was not a good idea. He stalled a little bit. Ah, then the question that they asked him.....the racism question. Very sensitive. But his answer wasn't. So....I guess there's no big impact there. NEXT! Jia Yi. Hmm, she wasn't too good either. I rather disliked the mix of english and malay. Half way talking in malay, suddenly an english word pops out. Kinda frustrating. And her question was the controversial one. The question was, between Scouts and the Prefectorial Board, which would she prioritize. She chose Scouts. Well, she didn't directly say that. But we all knew what she meant. Heh. NEXT!

The Bynn guy......he was.....okay, but nothing special either. No questions directed to him if I remember correctly. NEXT! Jessica Loke. She went up first actually. And what's irritating about the whole speech was....the rojak of malay and english. Ah, it was disastrous. In person, she's okay, don't get me wrong. But in a campaign, you just can't afford to be like that. Oh well. NEXT! Samer! Hmm....he did okay in my opinion. He used a little bit of humour and managed to catch the attention of quite a few of the people. A longer speech wouldn't hurt actually. His was kinda short. Well, I guess it's the restriction Pn. Ung gave em. NEXT! Ah, the form 6 girl. She had no problems in fluency. But she didn't manage to catch attention, well, maybe it's because.......she was speaking WAY too loud. I literally had to cover my ears to muffle the sound. It was that loud. Oh well, too bad.

NEXT! Megan. Ehem, she's one of my old friends but with all due respect, I'll still have to criticize her. Sorry Megan! [She knows about this blog. XD] Okay, Megan, her problem was.......lack of confidence. And total dependency on her little piece of paper. Her pace was slow.....her speech was uninteresting. It was like she was there just to fill in a slot. Well, no response whatsoever from the people. Sigh, work on it Megan. NEXT! Farah. Ah, she was.......above average. She delivered her speech flawlessly......but the problem is, no one was listening. There was no flair in the speech maybe? And maybe it was just too generic? Who knows? Okay....I think you already notice who I left out from the review right? YEAH!

It's Lee Shang Si. The anonymous Form 6 who wasn't a Seafieldian! He campaigned last. But I tell you, they really did save the best for last. Okay, first-impression. He looked, decent. Nothing gangsterish at all and jokingly, I said he looked like Mah Jia Jun, one of my classmates. Then, I also said he got a little bit of Lee Hwa Beng style. Hehe. Well, then he started to talk. Wait. He does sound like some politician guy! Well, let's hear more of it. He continued with the usual stuff like where he came from and what posts he held and so on......Then came the ending statement. Okay, throughout the speech, he was already able to catch attention. I don't know with what, maybe the tone of his sound? And when he was about to end his speech, it was the most entertaining and convincing of all the 9. Can't explain in words but everyone including me started to clap loudly after he ended it. It was that great. Personally, I was laughing very hard, I don't know why, but it's not the laugh because he's a fool laugh, but it's the acknoledgement laugh. Heh. The claps lasted quite long too, compared to the others, whom some didn't even received applause. Ah, then the interesting part, the questions. First question, how would he represent the students as the head boy. Would he be a teacher's puppet or be the righteous one that actually hears the students out? Hmm, tough one. He answered it quite well, but predictable. Well, it's the normal, "Both is important, so I will balance it up" kinda answer. Hm, then the second question. This was forwarded by a form 3 prefect. He asked, "You, as you said, was from another school. How do you think that you can administrate the board better than the ones that have been here since form 1??". He raised his voice during that question. I don't know why. So, Shang Si answered in a very unexpected cool manner.....he went back to his paper and said, "As I've said in my speech, I'm confident that I will be able to understand the situations of the school as fast as possible!". He answered that in Malay. And wow, after he said that, the crowd acknowledged with another round of great applause. Hahah, boy, wasn't I entertained. It was the best of them all man.....So, without a doubt, I gave him my highest vote out of the five.

Ah, it was rather neat, that campaigning thing. Heheh. I never knew someone could campaign like that! Hmm, it would be great fun to see him get the Head Boy post. Great great fun indeed. Oh well, enough about that. Hahah. I realize it's a freaking long post up to here. Heheh. One little event sprouts so many words. Ah, it's now 11.24. It's another 35 minutes till 12. Heheh. Well, with plan 1 out of my birthday, I guess I'll just have to fill that plan up with something else eh? Yeah...maybe something will happen at school? Yeah. But whatever happens, Plan 2 to 5 will go on as planned! Nothing can stop me now. XD.

Well, I hope for the best tomorrow, hope lots of people remembers and wishes me the simple wish. Happy Birthday. Yup. And hopefully, I dont' receive the Birthday BASH. Heh. Well, gotta hike up my alertness eh? Yup. I better. Don't wanna have a bruised birthday. Lol. So, I'll wake up to a wonderful morning I hope. And I can only wish that tomorrow goes well for me! If it does, it's gonna be a memorable one. Well, see ya people next post, the post of "Rebirth"! If you know what I mean. =)

Almost.

It's almost the day......yes......the day where I will be reborn!! Bleh, I'll try not to be so dramatic. Heheh.

Hm, tomorrow's Thursday and the day after that is a Friday. Ohh.......What a Friday it will be. Hee. The upcoming great Friday is already looking bright for me. Well, let me tell you abit about what this Friday will look for me.

First, let's start from school, there will be the prefects' campaign session, this would be the second one. The first one would be tomorrow, which is Thursday. Anyways, this means what? This means the first period at least would be of no studies. All for the better. Then, the campaign itself doesn't sound too bad. We'll see how they convince the people that they are worth it. It's so.......American Idol/Persident Election Campaign. The whole idea seems great. But what's bad is the fact that we only choose who the higher-ups get to interview. There will be a top 5. So that means, even if your favourite gets through, they won't necessarily be the next Head Boy/Girl. Sheesh, where got nice to play if like that.....sigh.

Second, after school, there will be a St. John's course. Well, it's basically a get-ready seminar for the people who's gonna take the upcoming tests. Well, I'm one of them, but I'll be taking the one that's in August. Heh. No rush eh? It'll be from 12.30-2.20. Oh yeah, I'll not just be taking the cadet test.....I'll be taking the ADULT cadet test. Why? Cause' I'm already 16 when the test starts. Doh*. Why lah.......But it's not as bad as it seems, cause' it's kinda like a short cut for me. 3 years of Junior Cadet service = 1 year of Adult Cadet service. Ah.....See? So, I'm basically climbing up the stairs 1 time while the other suckers gotta climb it thrice. Too bad. =P Well, I hope I pass the test in August. [cross fingers]

Third. After the seminar, I'll have to rush home, take a bath, change into decent clothes and go to Summit. Lol. Why the rush? Cause' I'm going for a movie with my friends! I'm watching The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift! Wow, can't believe I'll be getting a serving of cars and babes again. Heheh. Actually, thought of watching Cars.....mana tau, on that very day when I went home, the poster for Tokyo Drift was in the papers. I immediately change my mind. Lol. Sorry cute cars. I prefer the real thing. The show would be at 3.10 possibly, so.....still kinda rush. Well, it's my birthday and I wanna have fun till the max. Hee.

Fourth. After the movie, it'll possibly be 5 something. Gotta rush home too. Why? Cause' I'll be having a little gathering of friends to celebrate my birthday. My mom's cooking seafood spaghetti and pizza! Possibly fried chicken too.....Wow, I kept asking her if she could handle it and she insisted that she could. I love her so much. And, it would be so special with friends this time around. It's my first time in sixteen years. I haven't had friends come over for my birthday...ever. Well, that's all gonna change. Hee. =D The thing would be at around 7.30 or 8.00 and god knows when it'll end. Might be very early or very late. Okay, cut the late. Maybe they'll leave at 10? Hm...oh well. It's real nice for them to even come. Heheh.

Fifth. What? Not yet end? Nope. There's one more thing that'll be happening on Friday for me. And that would be....my Ph.D uncle. He's gonna come back!! On my birthday too. As I've told in my previous post, it's a freakin' great coincidence, on a freakin' great day. Heheh. Rock on!! This time, his whole family is coming back too. So, I get to see my aunt, and my two cousins. It's like........really cool cause' they're all very.......foreign. Foreign in the sense that they live in a very different place than here. Well, it's US after all. That means, I get to hear about what happens there and I get to show em' what happens here! It's soooo pen pal-lish. Lol. And what's more, we're family. It's been at least 3 years since I've seen em'. It's gonna be one huge reunion. Weee! Can't wait!!

Phew......so much happening on ONE day! Is it a coincidence or what? Hahah. I guess everything's brighter and better on your birthday huh? Hee. It's only two days away!! Lalalallalalalalalalala. I'll just have to float in my dreams till then. Hehe. It's my 16th birthday on the 16th day of the 6th month of the year o6'. Now when do you get combinations like that? Once in a lifetime. Heheh. Cheesy? But true! Well, I'll be blogging everyday till my birthday. So, come visit often! See ya next post! Till then,

Fever.

Everyone should be having one now right? The football fever that is. Heheh.

I don't have it, but just merely trying to get myself in it. Hmm, not exactly working but I've been watching a few of the 9 o'clock matches. Let's see, yesterday's was Japan vs Australia. Goodness, that was the worst and most idiotic match ever. Japan looked like they got it during the first half. And it LOOKED like they were going to get it 1-0. But no. They have to fumble on the 86th minute. Of all times, why the bloody 86th minute. So, it's 1-1 then. That's cool, they can have it a tie. But no. On the 89th minute, comes another goal from the Aussies. That's not the end. 90th minute, wa-la, another. And so, it ends with a miserable, oh my goodness 3-1 to the Aussies. Japs, what the hell happened? Haih. Dissapoints all the asian fans out there. I think even the hot female fans at the stadium was pissed. Tsk tsk tsk. Heck, even I was dissapointed.

In my humble opinion, the japs were sleeping or something. What the hell man.....where is the samurai spirit when you need it? Sigh, I guess it's sayonara to the land of the rising sun for this world cup. If they don't step up their game, their gonna get pawned. Well, even if they DO, I don't think they stand a good chance anymore. Oh well, have a nice day japs.

Ah, today's 9 o'clock match. Which just finished a while ago. Korea vs Togo!! The first impression, where the hell is Togo? Didn't strike me as a fancy team. Korea already proved themselves in the past, so I'm pretty sure Korea would end up winners. Hm, funnily, they did. But in a twisted kinda way if you ask me. First half was disastrous. Togo actually led 1-0. I thought I was watching a re-enactment of the Japan vs Australia match. As in, the asians were going down once more. Well, the whistle for the first half went and the score was still 1-0. All hope is lost I thought. Noooo.......Okay, so after the break, starts the second half. Starts off pretty normal, pretty lame.....then, at the 50 something'th minute, fulamak, the best happened, a Togo player got sent off....hahah, I was laughing my head off when that happened, it was comedical I tell you. Shortly after that, Korea scored a goal through a free kick! Wah, bagus sekali. Now the score is tied at 1-1. Oh well, that'll do it I thought. Mana tau, at the erm.....70 something'th minute? The koreans scored again! Making the score 2-1! The koreans were leading! That's the way man....make the asians proud. And wa-la, without much resistance, they won the match. Ah, at least it wasn't stupid like the Jap match. They actually won this one. Hooray for Korea! Keep it up people!

Ah, I found it quite enjoyable to watch these matches. What was the most enjoyable parts? The parts where people get cards, the part where people roll over each other, the part where people get injured. Those are the most enjoyable parts. Heh. And of course the goals lah. Who wouldn't like to see goals? Whatabout skill? Hm, to tell the truth, there were very, very little skill involved. It was so lacklustre, it reminded me of school football. Heh. Well, so much for skill.

Hah, quite a trivial post if you ask me. I've got nothing to post! And I don't feel like posting about school. My results are totally laughable and seriously, they are capable of killing people. So lousy. Haih, let's not spoil mood for the week. It's a good week and let's keep it that way. Let everything go wrong AFTER my birthday. Speaking of which, I can't believe I'm growing older once more. 16. I'm in this world for 16 years already. When you think of it, it's kinda bizarre. Almost two decades old. Oooh. And to think how much me and the people around me have grown. It's almost unbelievable. Well, let's live for the moment before it flies by just like that huh? Yeah.......Alrighty then, I guess I'll see ya people next post. Make sure you flood my taggie on the 16th ya?

End.

It's the end of the holidays!!! Wait, it's already ended, considering I'm writing this past midnight......Noooooo!!

Oh well, it's the end. Tomorrow's a school day and I'm not asleep. Wee. What am I doing? Blogging. How nice. Ehem* Anyways, I'm here partly because I missed my blog session on Friday. I wanted to blog on that day because it would be exactly one week before my birthday. So, I figured I could do a little countdown ya' know? But,what do you know, I forgot. Then, on the weekends, I gotta head back to hometown. So, it's all against me. No one to blame eh? Heh.

Hmm, so school's starting tomorrow again. Come to think of it, it's good and bad for me. Let's list it out in point form eh? In conjunction of the re-opening of school. It's like doing a draft for an essay! Now ain't that exciting? Well, let's go.

The Pros:-
-It's school~!!
-Get to see her again! Woo!
-Don't have to rot at home.
-Won't have time to think of dirty things.
-Birthday's coming up.
-My favourite uncle from the US is coming back to visit.
-Get to see lots of friends~!
-Get to socialise?

The Cons:-
-It's school~
-Have to see the teachers....again.
-Have to face results.
-Have to wake up early.
-Have to do homework.
-Have to walk to and from school.
-Have to be responsible.
-Have to be the class monitor.
-Have to bother with the bloody buku ponteng.
-Have to see the teachers.
-Have to face results.

As you can clearly judge, there are more bloody cons than pros. Damn it. And notice the repeated cons? Yes, they were not an accident. It was on purpose. Because, those cons are that damn annoying. Gah. Well, I guess, it's back to the real world ain't it? After two weeks in the 'matrix', I guess we've gotta wake up and face the machines. Sheesh. All I can imagine is, homework, results, remorse. It's all full of crap. My days of gaming is gone......Okay, it's not that bad but you get the idea.

Well, at least there's one thing to look forward this week, oh yeah, I've been flooding it on my every post since I don't know when at the end of the post. Uhuh, my birthday's coming up. Not expecting any presents. No one ever remembers. Well, that's for my friends of course. My parent's already bought me something. =) How thoughtful. And yeah, on my birthday, my fantabulous Ph.D uncle is coming back to visit!! For a month too! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Ehem* Yeah, it's like a freaking great coincidence on a freaking great day. Hahah, to think of it, I might get a haul out of this one......erm, you don't have to know what I mean. ;P

So...yeah, great week to look forward to, lousy stuff to make it bad. I guess there's a balance then. Yeah, then there's the World Cup. Not too hyped about it. Sorry, but I'm not a football junkie. Just following the results for the heck of it, and just watching some of the good matches for.........the heck of it. Yeah, it's been pretty trivial for me. Hm.

Anyways, it's already 1.06 a.m. I gotta scram for sleep now. Before I end up like a zombie tomorrow. I'm already starting to feel dizzy, and the silence doesn't help. Dead silence........OH WELL, see ya next post people!

Love.

Hello. Finally, I'm back. After A week long absence, I'm finally back. Sigh, this sounds like some weird drama or something. By the way, today, I'm going to post about the KLIMS '06 that just ended on the 4th of June, which was yesterday. Oh well. And yeah, my title, it's not about loving a girl. It's about loving my daddy and mommy. Why? Read on!

KLIMS '06

What's that? It's the Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow! Heheh, went there last Saturday and it was a total blast I tell you. It totally satisfies the little fantasy that boys have all the time~ Cars AND Babes.
Hahah. Went there with my little brother, and it wasn't fun. He just keeps whining. Wanna look at cun chicks also he bising. Sigh. Well, small kid mah right? Tsk tsk tsk.

Anyways, it was hella cool and I got to see a truckload, no, make that a buttload of cars that you will never get a chance to see on the road or in your life! All the exotic cars.....ah......it was like heaven. Well, I'm not gonna blog about the whole journey throughout all the FIVE halls of automobiles, I'll make it up by showing some pictures! Fair? I know, I know.......Well, I'm still gonna show you the pictures! [Ehem* Wait. This was supposed to be yesterday's post, but I somehow did not manage to post this, and due to unforeseen consquences, such as time and freakin' long loading time for the pictures.....I decided to show you *some* pictures only. It will take an eternity to show you the pictures I wanted to show you. So....don't angry ya?]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

F1 Car! Saw it up close....Gah, not too exciting this one. It was driven by Schumi though.

One of Toyota's concept vehicles. Try to imagine us driving one of these in the future. Heh. [*Babe is Hot.]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sorry for the interruption, Ladies and Gentlemen, Blogger is apparently NOT letting my pictures appear anymore. So, there is that measly TWO pictures there? Oh man.....Nevermind! The post must go on! Well, I'll upload it somewhere else and I'll put a link here when I do kay? So....please do not say I'm cheap. Lol. No. I'm Serious. Please.

To make up for the lousy amount of pictures, please, let me tell you a little bit more about it. Erm....there is not much to tell is there? Sigh. OH WELL.....Next topic!!

Love For Mommy and Daddy

Why the mushy stuff all of the sudden eh? Well, I'll tell you why. I realize as of Sunday, I love my parents alot. I can't begin to tell how much they love me too. They don't exactly tell me that they love me. It's all in the heart. So, why did I suddenly realize this?

It was on that Sunday. For the simple reason that my dad bought me my birthday present. That's not what it means actually. Why I love him so much for that is because of the meaning behind it. You see, I never expected to get a present this early and.....out of the blue, he bought me that thing I've always wanted. It hit me in the head when he said he was gonna buy it for me! I didn't even ask for it, I've only mentioned it a few times, and there he goes, getting it. It's not cheap too, mind you. Then, I realized, he does care! He doesn't verbalize it but he does it. Action speaks louder than words eh?

Okay, mom? Why do I suddenly realize I love her alot? It's a funny story too. My friend made me realize that. It was that Monday morning, which was yesterday morning to be exact. I went to play ping pong at her house. What happened there is not important. What's important is that I saw her make her own breakfast. Why is that significant? It's significant because I never have to make breakfast. My mom does. I don't even have to ask. Then I realized that I'm one lucky asscrack. While alot of other people have to make their own milo, I just wake up to it already on the table. That made me realize. That made me see why my mommy is so precious to me. Breakfast is only ONE thing she does for me, she also does the cleaning, the ironing and such for me. I can't imagine life without mom.

That is why, I dedicate this post to my parents. Words just can't describe the hidden love behind the things they do. I just won't know where to start. I promise to love them as long as I'm still their son. I vow to take care of them when they need it. I am grateful that they are my parents.

I Love You Mom & Dad.

6 6 6

Anybody realize that? Today is the 6th day of the 6th month of the year '06. That makes the date today 6/6/06! Thus, indirectly spelling the number of the anti-christ. I'm not a christian myself but I know they don't like they number. It symbolises the devil. Why? Ask them. I don't really know myself. Ironically, today is a good date for the chinese community. So, there's like a clash of beliefs here. Heh. Well, ignorance is bliss. Let's just think of today as a day like any other. I'm going to bed soon anyway. Let's not let this spoil sweet dreams!

That's all for today. For an absence of a week, seems pretty weak. Well, I'll think of more stuff to write next time. See ya next post people.
