My Ivy.

This is a continuation of the previous post, which is about Ivy.

As many can already see, Ivy is a guitar.

Specifically, she's an Ibanez Artcore Custom AS103.

Just got her two weeks ago, and yes, she is beautiful.

Feast your eyes, on these:

The thingies on the fretboard, which are called inlays, are made of pearl, or something like that. XD Don't they look just awesome?

Gold hardware, all the way to the headstock.

Notice that the knobs are dark in colour, but they're actually dark brown, and made of WOOD. OMG. [Usually knobs are made of plastic]

Full view of body, in hardcase which came with it. Notice the lines on the wood? It's because the body is made of Flamed Maple. And it's a natural thing. The wood looks like that straight out of the tree. The guitar looks so much more exotic with em. =)

Serial Number~

Back of headstock.

Shine! Notice the contours on the body. =)

On the back too!

Stylised Shot.

This type of guitar is called an Archtop, or a Semi-Hollow Bodied Guitar, whichever you prefer. =)

They have F-Holes [No, it's not that F.] , which are those huge holes on the body of the guitar, which can also be found on Violins. They really give the guitar that really nice look and it's not all for looks. It also give s the guitar a great warm and full tone. You need to hear it to believe it. =)

Suitably played for jazz and blues, don't think that Ivy can't play with distortion. It actually sounds better than Emily! Oh my. XD [Emily's my Epiphone SG]

Ivy is such an all rounder guitar that, with just a few minor tweaks, it can basically come up with any tone for any music you can think of, with plenty of sustain to boot. [Sustain is how long a note played on the guitar lasts before it fades off. =)]

Haha, basically, it's just plain cun. For a really nice price tag too, compared to many others of the same type. And I'm not being sarcastic. =)

Before I end, I'd like to thank Daddy for being such an awesome Dad. He practically did everything in order to get my guitar. Such as, driving down to KL, then driving to Mid Valley, then driving back to KL, and paying for it. >.< style="font-style: italic;">hero. Why it took a return trip to KL, that's a story for another day. Hehe. But anyways, Thanks Daddy.

And so! Officially, I have a kickass guitar, and now I really have no more GAS. [Guitar Acquisition Syndrome.] Because Ivy suits all my needs. Haha. =P
